Un scandal de proportii care ameninta sa continue cu proteste
de
strada si atacuri informatice, s-a declansat la
Universitatea "Al.I.Cuza" din Iasi, dupa ce conducerea institutiei
a
luat decizia de a cere studentilor sa plateasca cite 5 dolari
daca
vor sa aiba internet in camerele din camine.

In November 2004, voters in 8 municipalities in the state of
Geneva
were for the second time able to vote over the Internet in a
federal
referendum. No technical or security problems were recorded,
but the
effect on voter turnout remains unclear. According to the Geneva
authorities, 3,755 citizens chose to cast their vote through
the
state's e-voting website during this seventh Internet-based
ballot –
the second to be held for a federal referendum.
